Hello! My name is Justin Check, owner/operator of Check Total Health and NSCA certified personal trainer & fitness nutritionist. I’ve been in the fitness industry for over 8 years and specialize in strength training, functional training, strong yoga, mat Pilates, and meal planning/nutrition coaching. I realized my passion for health and fitness in my early teen years when I began exercising regularly to reach my own physique/fitness goals. Now, my passion is helping others reach their fitness goals! I truly believe that a healthy, strong body is the key to living a high quality life and to keeping a healthy mind and soul. I want to help you be the best possible you! Whether you’re simply needing help to lose weight or you’re needing someone to elevate your current workouts to the next level, I will design and implement workouts for you that are dynamic and effective! Hi, I’m Stephanie Check, the better half of Justin Check (just kidding!). I started in the personal training industry when I was only 18 years old and have had a deep appreciation for health and wellness ever since. I was competitive in tennis and running as a teenager and also very dedicated to boxing and weight lifting. With chronic knee issues, I turned to strength training instead of surgery and have seen the benefits of exercise and clean eating throughout the last decade. I love working with all types of clients who are embarking or elevating their health journey. I’m a NSCA certified personal trainer and certified Spinning instructor. I’ve been blessed to have two healthy & fit pregnancies and postnatal journeys and specialize in helping women with their prenatal/postnatal personal training. Personal Training: Get the personal attention you need from a fitness professional who truly cares about your results. You’ll receive a customized exercise program with workouts designed around your schedule, health needs, and fitness goals – implemented in a one-on-one setting. It’s an ideal approach for those with special needs, chronic health issues, limited exercise experience, pregnant women or anyone who prefers a more intimate training setting. We begin with a brief consultation to go over your health history, exercise history, and what you wish to accomplish while training. The first workout is an assessment of your current condition and tests for thresholds, strengths, weaknesses, and proportionate/relative strength – that way we can track your progress over time. We’ll keep your health issues and fitness goals in mind throughout your training regimen that will be progressive in nature, but scaled accordingly. Anyone committed to a personal training package also gets FREE nutrition coaching throughout the process.
Group Training: Have friends or family members looking to get more fit too? Group training is affordable and fun! With music blasting and a wide variety of exercise stations that continuously mix up the workouts, everyone participating is sure to be motivated and have a good time! Group training is best suited for those who have at least moderate exercise experience and can maintain proper form in a group setting. The workouts typically start with a warm-up of stretching, Pilates, and light aerobics. Then we move on to a full-body circuit of various exercise stations that include lower body, upper body and total body exercises, functional movements, power movements, and cardiovascular exercises. To finish, we cool down with some ab/core exercises. Not to worry, there are appropriately timed breaks throughout the workout! Group training workouts can also be customized to your group’s liking and fitness goals…just ask! For those looking to push their body to the next level and get quick results, we also offer higher intensity boot-camps and cross-fit style workouts.
Corporate Wellness: Get your employees and co-workers exercising! More and more companies are reaping the benefits of offering wellness initiatives at the workplace. The numbers have shown time and time again that healthy employees are not only more productive, but also absent less due to illness and chronic health issues. Youth Training: It’s estimated that 33% of American adolescents are obese. Put the video games to bed and let’s wake our kids up! Youth workouts can be designed simply to keep your kids interested and involved in staying active and exercising regularly or to help condition them for a particular sport. The workouts can include outdoor activities, sport-related exercises, and physical education. We also encourage and educate kids and teens on healthy eating habits throughout the process.

We offer LIVE and RECORDED online group fitness classes for just $29/month. Our library of nearly 100 recorded classes can be accessed anytime/anywhere from a smartphone, tablet or computer. The schedule of LIVE classes is as follows:
Tues/Thurs 8:00-8:50 am (EST) – 5 Min Fit 50 minutes of 5 minute sections working the various body parts. Includes a cardio/stretch warm up and recovery stretch cool down. Total body workout with cardio and core incorporated throughout. You need dumbbells and a mat.
Friday 8:30-9:00 am (EST) – Yogalates 30 minute stretch flow of transitional movements combining both Yoga and Mat Pilates. Increase muscular endurance, strength, flexibility and gain core strength with this multi-level class for anyone who wishes to feel better and energize their body.

Say hello to Tristan Chapman, an avid cyclist and former professional beach volleyball player. Tristan embarked on a 7 week mission to follow a Check Total Health meal plan and take Stephanie Check’s indoor cycling classes a few times each week. While it’s true that Stephanie Check is a Personal Trainer in Southwest Florida and has been working out for many years, she still has to put in the effort to overcome weight gain such as when she gave birth to our daughter, Liv. The first picture is Steph just one week after giving birth and the second picture is Steph 8 weeks later (9 weeks after giving birth). Steph followed a Check Total Health meal plan and worked out 5-6 days a week once given the OK from the doctor. In the 8 week period she lost 5 pounds, 8% body fat and put on a substantial amount of muscle.
